what a mess spring makes...

Boy do l love spring but do l ever hate the mess that it makes. My backyard is like one big mud pit. Between the kids, the dog and my husband tracking in the dirt...l think l may go alittle insane. l don't know how many times l have said..."Wipe the dogs feet", but do you think anyone listens to mom...NO. Or "no shoes on in the house". I think that it is just selective hearing.
Today was so beautiful the kids and l spent most of day in the backyard talking about all the fun things that you get to do in the summer months. They are way to excited. After all the playing was done evryone all looked like the were wrestling in a mud bit. This is the part that l hate. Have you ever tried to get six muddy kids out of splash suits and rubber boots all at once without getting dirty?...Good luck. I just love this picture of all their little boots lined up!
