bee sting.....ouch!

I tell you, what l week it has been already. First and foremost this heat wave is just crazy. Thank goodness for central air, sprinklers and pools. The kids don't even want to venture out doors unless they are in water. I really can't blame them. I think we may get a bit of a break today....thunderstorm is rolling in.

Well l got my very first bee sting yesturday. I never knew that it could hurt as much as it did. Of course it was flying around the kids and l said "leave it alone, it wont hurt you unless you bug it". What do l do two mintues later.....step on it. Ouch. I tell you l wanted to use every bad word in the book except l had eight kids standing there staring at me. Poor Alyssa was crying cause she could tell that l was hurting. Man no one told me that a sting hurts that bad. Stupid bee. Oh well l am over it, but l think l will be a bit more afraid of them now.

I saw on Heidi Swapps blog the other day that she is selling her scrapbook kit at Costco. Wow, it looks awesome. It may only be in the states though. I am not to sure. Anyways my father is a Costco addict and l have given him strict orders to grab me a few if he see's them there. What a great price for all the yummy goodies you get. I hope one comes my way.

Getting ready to go away to the cottage for the long weekend. So looking forward to it. I need a break ....my summer has just been so extremely crazy with daycare kids that l just need some time with mine. I am sure l will get some great photos. I will post them when l get back. Till then l am packing, cleaning, babysitting, cooking, taxing and everything else a mom does.
